Here at Wessex Care, we are a small family run group of Nursing & Specialist Residential homes, located in the heart of Salisbury, South Wiltshire. Each home has its own unique character and provides outstanding, personalised service and care. Our homes specialise in nursing, dementia and protected living older person residential care. We specialise in boutique establishments (under 30 beds) which promotes our ability to deliver highly individually tailored support.
Maintaining a very high standard of care and retaining excellent staff is extremely important to us. This enables us to deliver consistent services to each of our homes and ensure everyone receives the care and attention they deserve. Our number one priority is the welfare of our residents and their families. We believe in supporting and caring for them in our relaxed, welcoming homes so they are able to lead a fulfilled, comfortable and enjoyable life.
Wessex Care was created on 1st July 2001 by ourselves, we have a personal and professional passion for the care and well-being of vulnerable people. Pauline has been a qualified nurse for over 35 years and for the past 20 years, has specialised in the care of the older person in nursing and residential settings, where she held senior positions including Matron and Care Manager. Matthew worked within the social and health care services for over 30 years, ten of which were in a senior management role within social services. He was responsible for delivering services to children and families in need of support, care and protection in Wiltshire and Southampton.
